This custom 2011 Ford SVT Raptor Custom has been given the moniker Baja-Ready by its creator and owner Theresa Contreras of San Dimas, California. All compromising went out of the window as Theresa set about creating an all purpose off road 4X4 that could take a beating on sand dunes over a long weekend.
Much of getting the desired off road performance came to changing the suspension and tires, which also means we have to get technical for a moment. The front springs were replaced with Icon Vehicle Dynamics Stage 3 2-inch lift kit, with new Uniball upper A-arms, 3.0 remote-reservoir coilover. As for the back suspension, Theresa went with Atlas leaf springs and Icon Vehicle Dynamics 3.0 PiggyBack reservoir bypass shock.
Toyota Open Country tires were added to custom 20×9 BMF M-80 Stealth finish wheels, while the brakes were kept as factory.
