The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is one of my favorite off road vehicles. Sure, it does not do as well as the Land Rovers of the world when it comes to hitting tough terrain, but as a design statement and as an all-rounder it is hard to beat. Of course, when the AMG tuning division gets its hands on a Merc you can expect the result to be spectacular, and they certainly are with the Dubai Police Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.
Only once after market Mercedes tuner Brabus got their hands on it did this become not just any normal off road car. Dubai is a rich man’s paradise, so how do you catch guys in Ferrari’s if you are the police? Well you get a rugged car that also goes like a rocket. Brabus took the AMG G63 and fitted a 5.5 liter biturbo V8 engine that turns out a frankly insane 700 galloping horses. This looks epic and goes epic too, with a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds. via
