Back in 2013 Italian design studio Lazzarini introduced the first of its line of “mini yachts”. This egg-shaped compact Jet Capsule ($TBA) is fairly small; a mere 24.6 ft. (7.5 m) long with an 11.5 ft. (3.5 m) beam. The hull is fiberglass and is designed for a hydro-jet system. The mini yacht can be customized with either one or two engines using either petrol or diesel fuel and can range between 315 to 740 horsepower. Depending on configuration this futuristic looking boat can reach speeds from 25 to 50 knots per hour.

The spacious interior within the protected deck space can seat up to 8 people, features automatic doors, a rear diving platform, toilet, convertible bedroom, and can be customized to include a kitchen. The ease of customizing this jaunty craft makes it the ideal shell for everything from a water taxi, to a party boat, to a floating ambulance. The maintainable speeds make it equally good for waterboarding and skiing. The designers even contemplated an armored, military version.
