Snow Peak’s Alpha Breeze camping tent is back following an extended hiatus. But this isn’t just a simple reissue, since it’s also an updated version. The tent is now lighter than ever, making it even more portable.

The tent switched the materials for the rainfly and inner tent. They now feature lighter-weight, tear-resistant ripstop materials, which made the tent 2.2 lbs lighter. It previously weighed about 11.34 kg (25.04 lbs) and is now 10kg (22 lbs). That’s a significant drop, and one that’s certainly going to impress seasoned campers. Designed to meet or exceed leading chemical safety standards, the materials used are free of harmful chemicals and PFAS-based treatments.

Meanwhile, the other well-loved features from the original Alpha Breeze remain. This includes the tent’s architecture inspired by traditional A-frames and Adirondack cabins. Its structure makes it an ideal outdoor shelter for the North American camper. It sleeps three to four people comfortably inside a generous interior measuring 14.9′ long and 8.1′ wide.

Additionally, it offers enough headroom to stand at a height of 6’1″. This tent also offers convenient entry points on all four sides. This flexibility enables cross-ventilation, allowing wind to circulate and make the space breathable and airy. The entry points also provide views out the front, back, and sides.

Additionally, mesh windows enhance ventilation when the tent is fully closed. Meanwhile, transforming the vestibule into an awning provides added shaded outdoor space for al fresco dining or lounging. The three-season Alpha Breeze tent makes setup a breeze. Its color-coordinated pieces make installation convenient and fast. It also packs down effortlessly into its own carrying bag.
