Whoever has the final say among the American sports apparel group’s marketing team deserves a raise. Keeping your ears close to the ground is practically a cheat code. It allows you to get a grasp of what customers want, as well as whatever is trending. Therefore, the sneakers in question seem like a welcome strategic move for the brand.
Since last year’s drop was an exclusive tie-in for the Oregon Duscks atheletic department, we’ll gladly accept this than nothing at all. The Air Foamposite Pro Mummy Duck sports a molded upper, which exudes iridiscent hues of black, green, and purple depending on how the light reflects off the material.
What follows is an oversized Swoosh emblem on the lateral flanks, in vibrant Volt over a white fabric with frayed edges. A similar approach applies to the distinctive Mummy Duck logos just below the heel pull tabs of the shoes. Next, black synthetic textiles make up the rest of the upper, while white rope shoelaces provide a striking contrast.
