Australian startup MyGlamper brings the comforts of home outdoors with its wheel-less camping system. This hitch-mounted trailer unfolds and inflates into a generous, well-equipped, fully functional, livable space in the wilderness.

It’s unlike conventional camper trailers with wheels for towing, nor does it hook to a vehicle’s roof. Instead, it attaches directly to a vehicle’s towbar via a removable towbar-mounted system. This makes it easy to deploy or fully set up the tent in just six minutes. In its folded state, it rides flush against the vehicle’s back at a size of 7.87″ H x 55.12″ L x 47.24″ W.

It also weighs under 70kg and packs into a hard composite case that unfolds at basecamp, allowing the tent to expand into a large camping space. MyGlamper sets up fast using an automated inflation system and a pump, rather than manual assembly of poles and supports.

This shelter uses separate air valves for each room, efficiently isolating pressure in individual sections. This precautionary detail prevents the entire tent from collapsing if only one area loses pressure. The pump has a pressure switch that can stay connected to help maintain inflation pressure in case a puncture occurs. It supports continuous inflation while the damaged area gets repaired.

MyGlamper also comes with a puncture repair kit. Depending on the model, this tent can accommodate a raised master bed, ensuite bath, kitchen, cooking area, and more. The bathroom can have a hot recirculating shower and a composting toilet. Meanwhile, the water system can also include water reticulation and filtration. These features bring the convenience of home to an outdoor setting, such as camping or glamping.
