Although the pandemic may not be totally over, in-person attendance at mass gatherings is back albeit with some precautions in place. The calendar appears stacked with events that cater to those in the motoring and yachting scene. If you’re interested in luxury vessels, Fairline shares details for the upcoming Squadron 58.

Fairline’s teaser for 2023’s Cannes Yachting Festival should attract its fair share of admirers. It’s the 46th installment of the prestigious celebration for all things related to its namesake. The Squadron 58 along with some of the most jaw-dropping ships will be on showcase.

This 58-footer flaunts a sporty outline and three decks for clients to personalize. Before the books open, we have this standard layout as an overview. Fairline is replacing the outgoing Squadron 53 with this sleek monohull.

A notable first for the company is the addition of fold-down terraces toward the aft of the main deck. Salt Design is likewise on board to help breathe life into the spaces of the Squadron 58. Let’s start with the topmost section where a forward-take flybridge hardtop shields you from the elements.

Social spaces are aplenty on the main deck which affords guests panoramic views. Here you can find the cockpit, a bar, modular lounge seats, and main controls. The Squadron 58’s bow features more seating and sun pads, while the aft holds a hydraulic swim platform which can also hold a small tender when not in use.

Finally, the lower deck is where you’ll find the master cabin midships, a guest cabin, and a VIP cabin. A twin crew cabin is optional with access via a door near the transom. The Squadron 58 is available with twin Volvo D13-900 or D13-1000 shaft-drive engines.
