The essoetto CM-01 Pro isn’t just a portable espresso maker, but also a power bank. It ditches the manual hand pump for extracting rich espresso. Instead, it runs on a built-in 27,000mAh power bank that also charges external devices, conveniently turning this kitchen essential into an emergency power source.
The battery can brew up to 16 espressos on a single charge using cold water, and you still have some extra battery left to charge a phone, a tablet, or other USB-C compatible devices. It packs twenty bars of professional pressure similar to commercial-grade espresso machines. It delivers rich espresso with real crema and full flavor, not watered down.
The CM-01 Pro brews either 40ml for a single or 80ml for a double shot of espresso. It is compatible with Nespresso Original capsules, which are widely available on the market. It comes with its own basket for the freshly ground coffee if you prefer not to go the capsule route.
Additionally, it works with Nespresso Vertuo when paired with the optional essoetto adapter. Designed for ease of use, it doesn’t need a separate stand to brew. Instead, it has a freestanding profile, similar to a flask, so it stands/sits upright. It comes in two parts: the water tank and the brew head.
The bottom houses the battery and the water tank. Meanwhile, the top features the touch controls and holds the portafilter. It swivels out sideways and serves as a spout where fresh espresso funnels directly into the awaiting cup below. The CM-01 Pro brews espresso in as fast as 30 seconds and in five easy steps: rotate the brew head 180°, insert, tighten, pour, and double-click to dispense. It comes with its own storage pouch for safekeeping.
