Carpenter Watches out of Brooklyn, New York, may be a young company, having launched just two years ago, but even a glance at their latest release shows they have a solid plan for making their place in the industry.

Rather than following in the footsteps of so many watches and go with a stainless steel case, the Carpenter M11 Brooklyn Field Watch ($625) is done in sun-touched brass. The 40mm case is a classic round with a sapphire exhibition caseback for showing off the Miyota 821A 21-jewel automatic movement. The dial is a deep black that compliments the brass printed numerals, time indices, and polished brass hands. This warm, autumn-inspired timepiece has a black date complication at the 3 o’clock position, features a respectable 50-meter water resistance rating, and comes with a genuine brown leather strap. A limited edition of only 75 units.
