Böker pays tribute to the legendary M4 Sherman Tank with the M4 Sherman Damast Rose Gold pocket knife. This limited-edition release combines craftsmanship with historical significance. It’s a collector’s item that holds a piece of history in its frame.
Crafted in collaboration with the Americans in Wartime Museum in Virginia, this pocket knife features a Damascus blade made from materials sourced from restored M4 Sherman tanks. Renowned smith Chad Nichols hand-forged the intricate 80-layer Damascus into a customized ladder pattern.
The pattern resembles the tank tracks the Sherman’s heavy chains leave on the ground. It also symbolizes the war vehicle’s historic impact on the course of the war. Additionally, the pivot screw is patterned after the tank’s iconic main drive sprocket. Meanwhile, the handle on the M4 Sherman Damast Rose Gold is crafted from a combination of titanium and carbon, offering both lightweight strength and aesthetics.
The rose gold coating on the blade, clip, and screws gives the folder an overall elegant silhouette. On the performance side, this pocket knife allows one-handed deployment either with a flipper or thumb stud. It uses a premium frame lock to secure the blade in place during use. It also features a Hinderer lock-stop that adds security by protecting against lock overextension.
Rounding out its features are the lanyard hole and a deep-carry tip-up pocket clip for hands-free carry. The M4 Sherman Damast Rose Gold is only available in 500 units worldwide. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity, an individual serial number, and presented in an elegant floating display.
