iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus release date, rumors, specs, price and features;

A new iPhone 7 Plus rumor suggests that the device will include a larger battery and a 256GB storage option. The iPhone 7 Plus is the larger iPhone from the Apple stable that features a 5.5 inch display. Apple introduced the ‘Plus’ model in 2014 with the announcement of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 Plus featured a 5.5 inch 1080p display and had Optical Image Stabilization, which was exclusive to this version.

The Plus model also has a larger battery, but storage options are all the same. That could change with the new upcoming iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone 7 Plus specs

According to the rumor, which can be false, the iPhone 7 Plus will have a 256GB storage option. That’s twice the 128GB of internal storage option that you get in the current iPhone 6s Plus. Also, Apple plans on including a 3100mAh battery on the smartphone, whereas the current iPhone 6s Plus has a 2750mAh battery. That’s a good increase and should help power the phone through more than a day.

So far, we’ve heard that the iPhone 7 line up will be waterproof, have 3GB of RAM, improved camera, no 3.5 mm headphone port and feature A10 processors. The new devices will be super thin, thanks to the omission of the headphone jack. Audio out will most likely be handled via the Lightning port and Bluetooth.

Another report said that the TouchID fingerprint scanner on the next iPhone will be incorporated in to the display. This would allow for a larger display without having to increase the footprint of the device.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus release date:

Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be announced in September 2016, which is a long way from now. There will be more rumors, leaks and other details about these new smartphones. Apple is also expected to release a smaller 4 inch iPhone 6c with an A9 chip and iPhone 6 like body in early 2016.

What do you think of the 256GB storage option of the iPhone 7 Plus? Do you think you’d need such high storage?
