There was a time wherein Chinese-made smartphones were considered as nothing more than cheap knock-offs. These days, most of these brands are dominating the market with their flagship handsets. For example, the Huawei P20 Pro continues to earn praises from users and reviewers for its next-generation imaging capabilities. Others desire the Oppo Find X with its hidden camera and one-of-a-kind sliding mechanism that reveals it when necessary. Moreover, the latter plans to introduce another contender for the mid-tier segment with the Oppo R15 Pro.

Similar to most smartphone models available after the debut of the Apple iPhone X, it borrows some elements from the iOS-running device. You’ll love the generous space the 6.28-inch 2280 x 1080 AMOLED display provides alongside a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection from scratches. Oppo defines it as a camera phone so it touts a 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel dual-camera setup. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera is a 20-megapixel unit.

It’s available in Ceramic Black, Dream Mirror Red, and Cosmic Purple colors. The product description of the smartphone confirms that it uses a combination of glass, aluminum, and ceramic to deliver a premium feel.

The Oppo R15 Pro relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Soc with 6GB of RAM. The 128GB internal storage should be enough. Nonetheless, just in case you need more space, its hybrid dual-SIM nature can accept a microSD card in the SIM 2 slot. Lastly, the 3,430mAh battery supports fast-charging via the built-in VOOC Flash Charge tech.
