The Air Force 1 shoe is turning 35 years old and as a celebratory offering, Nike has released a new variation of the very popular Special Forces Boot silhouette. Calling it the SF AF-1 High, Nike has given this new iteration an upper constructed of both full grain leather and ballistic ripstop nylon mesh.

The shoe cannot escape its combat boot influence as the even higher top look continues to give the impression of heft. Adding to the rugged look of this ‘urban edition’ is a revamped lacing system which is made of a thick cord that can be wound multiple times around the ankle for a custom fit.

The Nike SF AF-1 High is being presented in numerous colorway of not only natural colors such as black, white, and rattan but also an eye-catching Total Orange! The initial run for the men’s model is set to be available on November the 2nd with women’s sizes a month later on December 1st.
