Milanese designer Paolo Cappello continues his line of streaming audio products with the creation of the Luciano, a small wireless speaker that blends art with technology. Designed for NEWBLACK, the Luciano Ceramic Bluetooth Speaker ($630) features a horn-shaped body handcrafted in the Italian city of Nove; the renown seat of quality ceramic artistry since the 1700’s.
Integrated into this beautifully symmetric trumpet shape is a full-range 3″, 15W speaker with a frequency response of 90Hz to 15 KHz. The Luciano connects to your device via Bluetooth 4.0 and works with iOS, Android, Mac OS, Windows, and Linux devices.
This ceramic speaker comes in colorways of pink, blue, or black in either matte or glossy finish, and, for the extra extravagant, there’s also a (rather more expensive) 24K gold version. Either one you go for, Luciano promises to fill a room, both large and small, with up to 85 decibels of sound.
