Swiss watch brand ArtyA is known for its contemporary art designs, using unusual materials and effects. Their “Son of a Gun” series became the first watch to use actual bullets incorporated into the dial, and now, the latest addition to the collection is the “Target” (~$7,000).

The 44mm case is made of 316 high-grade steel, while the dial is encapsulated in double, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and seemingly floats in the center with a connection only at the 3 o’clock position. It is engraved to resemble a sighting scope reticle (some people call it a target).

The timepiece is water resistant down to 165 ft and is powered by a solid, in-house modified A17 automatic Swiss movement that provides a 52-hour power reserve. In keeping with the simple design work, the “Target” only provides hours, minutes, and seconds on the dial. As with all of ArtyA’s watches, this is a limited edition with only 99 units being made.
