The Carrera Heuer-01 line of watches has just been increased with six new color options with two extra strap choices. The modular case construction is intended to be part of the overall cost effectiveness for introducing the new designs.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 Black Ceramic Watch ($6,300) is one of these new designs and demonstrates the first time their ceramic casing is being used in the men’s line of watches. The “Phantom” has a case, bezel, lugs and middle made of matte black ceramic for extreme durability and scratch resistance. Steel is kept to a minimum but does assure the TAG Heuer Carrera is water resistant down to a hundred meters.
The skeleton dial has luminescent black hands and markers and gives a peek at the Calibre HEUER-01 movement that runs this signature chronograph. Stylishly, this sleek black specter can be had sporting either the rubber sports strap or the matching H-shaped ceramic link bracelet.
