Many fine watches have their form inspired by quality machines. The Bovarro Moon 1969 Watch $630), a Swiss-made automatic timepiece, takes its shape from the world’s most famous spacecraft. It is tooled to resemble the hatch and knobs of the Apollo 11 craft that took the first moonwalkers to another world.

The bezeled case has eight aesthetically pleasing screws around the hatch and a crowned knob on the side, and comes in either 316L stainless steel or in 18K solid gold. The German-made straps are either black and brown with the Gold watch having an Italian leather option.

Bovarro is limiting this high-tech time machine to a #0-500 run with each serial number engraved on the back of the cases. They are water resistant to at least 50 meters and the cases offer three face configurations, Lunar, Orbit, or Celestial. The watch features the proven reliability of the ETA 2824-2 movement and will keep you on time whichever heavenly body you might be standing on.
