Derived from WW II military vehicles, the Power Wagon is the grandaddy of modern 4×4 trucks, and probably the manliest of them all. The latest custom build to draw our attention is this mad-looking Icon Dodge Power Wagon Crew Cab ($TBA), based on a 1964 model.
Coming from ICON’s workshop in sunny California, this green monster was completely overhauled inside and out. While the body is a rehabbed classic from the sixties, the chassis comes from a 2007 Dodge 2500 Mega-Cab, with a Magnuson intercooled supercharger added to the 5.7L HEMI engine, for even more power. Other upgrades include a Kore-Fox Racing suspension and Gibson stainless steel exhaust system, while the interior shines leather-wrapped, Tempurpedic foam seats on their original frames, an iPad Mini-integrated entertainment system, focal speakers paired with JL Audio amps, and a completely renewed instrument panel.
To round up its bold presence, the Dodge Power Wagon is finished in Volkswagen “Agave Green” with Volcanic Black 17-inch wheels. Details in the video. via
