The latest member of Nike’s All Conditions Gear family might be the ultimate shoe for, well, any conditions. Titled (kinda long), the NikeLab ACG Flyknit Trainer Chukka SFB ($220,00) was engineered primarily for nasty weather in urban environments, but also rugged enough to face a trail challange.
Designed in collaboration with Errolson Hugh of Acronym (the premier designer in unifying technology and functional style), these kicks provide the comfort of a shoe combined with a durable, water-repellent finish for weather protection, and the all-terrain grip of a Special Forces boot. With a lightweight breathable upper, heel and toe overlays for sturdiness, Phylon midsole for cushioning, and a Nike Free-inspired Waffle outsole for all-terrain traction, the Flyknit Trainer Chukka Men’s Shoe sounds like an insurance against the elements. Ready for use (and abuse) in black/anthracite.
