Small cars that deliver stupendous levels of power and handling are known as hot hatches, and perhaps the daddy of those is this year´s 2014 Audi S1. The German marquee knows a thing or two about making a sports car, and it seems Audi has put its expertise from the R8 and owning Lamborghini to good use here.
This is the company´s first real foray into this area of the market, but it comes as little surprise that the rally specialists have nailed the concept at first attempt. With a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine lifted from the S3, the 2014 Audi S1 ($TBA) should be good for 230hp. Not a lot for sure, but this car weighs as much as a biscuit and is the same size as one too, so expect some blistering performance and face shredding handling.
