With only a few days left, one lucky gearhead is about to take home this 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT. Upon checking, Bring A Trailer says bids are now at $310,000 with five days to go. According to the seller, the build date was March 23, 1972, and it was then delivered to its first owner by Hollywood Sports Cars.

Since the machine was in storage for years before its acquisition by another dealer, Fast Cars Ltd. was commissioned to do some restoration work on it. The job includes a repaint in a striking Marrone Dino Metallizzato of the original. In its current state, the auction house describes its condition as pristine.

Only 215 examples of the 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT come in the colorway. The documentation notes that it received a black coat around the 1970s. Chassis number 03580 was stripped to bare metal for some minor repairs as well before the current paint job. To be sure, the body numbers are all matching.

A 2.4-liter V6 with triple Weber carburetors and a five-speed manual gearbox form the powertrain. It rides on a set of Cromodora alloy wheels shod in 205/70VR14 Michelin XWX rubber with a matching spare on the frunk. Servo-assist disc brakes provide the stopping power for the 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT needs.

Meanwhile, the cabin likewise touts a beige Connolly leather re-upholstery to follow the factory trim once more. The carpets are also in the same shade, while the dashboard shows a black mouse hair trim. Air conditioning, power windows, and an AM/FM cassette stereo are some of the creature comforts. The 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT shows 44,000 miles on the odometer.
