ROXON’s Flex Go builds on its larger predecessor’s modular multi-tool ecosystem but in a pocketable format. It now comes in a slimmer chassis but retains the plier-based, split-apart design that lets you build your own multi-tool. The design still offers the same snap-in/snap-out format so you can customize the tools, albeit in a smaller profile.
It measures 3.46″ long and 1.57″ wide when closed, about 3/4″ shorter than the original Flex. When opened, it clocks at 4.69″ long and 4.53″ wide and weighs just 6.1 ounces. You can open the tools with one hand, and each implement comes with a locking function for safe use. The tool itself has a safety lock to prevent accidental opening when carried in the pocket.
Flex Go is available in a Frame Only design, which lets you start with the pliers only, and a Pre-Installed option, which is a complete multi-tool. It features eight slots with implements that you can swap in or out depending on the situation. Its plier-based handle combines needle-nose and regular pliers for gripping, bending, and handling small parts, and cutters for soft and hard wires.
Meanwhile, its frame has eight slots and only six implements. It holds tweezers, stainless steel scissors, a mini blade, an awl & threader, a toothpick, and a diamond file. It also comes with bottle and can openers and a double-ended flat-bit driver that lets you switch tip types without carrying a separate driver.
The Flex Go has slots compatible exclusively with Roxon’s ecosystem of short add-ons, which gives you 47 different swap-in tools. Its modular design lets you customize tools for any situation, such as camping, cleaning, DIY tasks, minor repairs, and more.
