Mecum Auctions is coming to Louisville this week and they are bringing a lot of big-block muscle with them to the Kentucky Exposition Center. Among the 700 or so collector vehicles crossing the block is this fully restored 1969 Dodge Super Bee coupe finished in a Blue Metallic paint and a Black vinyl top.
Among the highlights of this classic muscle car is the date code correct 440 Six Pack engine with
aluminum Edelbrock manifold, dual exhaust, and an A833 4-speed transmission with Hurst shifter. The ride has been given a 4.10 Sure Grip differential and a Dana 9 3/4″ rear end. Inside are standard bench seats done in black and accessories like heating, defrosting and dash clock. The black steel wheels are wrapped in Firestone Redline tires and it is believed that the 48,135 miles showing on the odometer are authentic. The lift-off hood is made of fiberglass and features a functional air scoop.
This classic 1969 Dodge Super Bee coupe has its VIN listed in the A12 registry and is ready to lend its strength to some lucky buyer’s collection.
