To celebrate their 50th year in Japan, Ferrari has created a special sports car to be released only in Tokyo. The Ferrari J50 ($TBA), while based on their 488 Spider, has had extensive body modification as well as functional upgrades for greater performance.

The J50 has the 3.9 liter V-8 engine configured to push 680 Horsepower. Its looks hark back to legenday Ferraris of the past; a black line hugging the nose & the base of the windows brings to mind an F40, while the wraparound windscreen & windows resemble the aero screens found on open-top racers of the 1950s. The rear sports a clear engine cover, a badass spoiler, a diffuser inspired by jet engine afterburners, and quad lights. A set of unique forged alloy wheels complete this red beauty, while the interior features sports seats and a three-tone trim.

This mid-rear-engined two-seater roadster is being released in a very limited edition as only ten will be made. They will be individually customized as the buyers will be working with Ferrari to make each unique J50 a worthy addition to even the most august automobile collection.
