You’re probably accustomed by now to seeing here dream homes, placed in beautiful surroundings. You know, those kind of places where one can see himself living as happy as a clam, for the rest of his life. So, to keep it in the same line, hers’s our latest discovery …
Titled ‘Casa El Maqui‘ ($NA), the construction is located in a mountainy natural reserve, in the south-west of Santiago de Chile. Built as a holiday residence for a family of 6, the 830 sq feet home was raised in a carefully chosen spot which contained no vegetation. The site now boasts a surrounding water-garden that will help both to regenerate the local ecosystem, and cool down the air during the high temperature months. Not to mention, it looks nice.
The home consists of two separated bases with exterior walkways that connect the interior with the outdoors. A staircase and a tinder bridge also give direct access to the outside directly from the upper story bedrooms, while the ground levels hold the social areas placed within sliding glass walls that allow for ventilation and protrusion of natural light. So, the owner is pretty much in contact with the stunning nature at all times (and we’re so envious). Oh, and to cope with the California-like climate of the area, casa El Maqui also counts with a necessary pool. I guess we can call it “casa perfecta”?
