We have almost three months until we see the Galaxy S8 in person. But according to the latest Galaxy S8 leaks, we might not need to wait that much to know everything about the phone. The most recent rumor, fueled by some leaks and published by The Guardian spills the beans on the design, features, power, and everything else. We are going to break them down. As always, take the rumors and the Galaxy S8 leaks with a grain of salt. But we must say, they are in line with previous rumors we had about the phone.

Design and Display

Let’s start with what might be the biggest change. We can almost say it is official; there will be no flat version of the Galaxy S8. Sources have confirmed that there will be two versions of the S8, called Dream 1 and Dream 2. They will feature an “infinity” display, with a size between 5 and 6 inches. That will be in line with the Galaxy S7, which was 5.1 inches, and the S7 Edge, which was 5.5 inches. But what is different is that both versions will come with a curved display. What is this “Infinity” display we’ve been hearing? It is in line with the previous rumors that the S8 will have almost no bezels. The infinity display will cover the majority of the front end of the device. Some sources claim there is no space to put even a log on the front. Samsung promised 90:10 display to body ratio, and they will deliver. This will probably mean no physical home button. And the good news is despite the large display; the phone will be smaller in size.

Features

This is where the Galaxy S8 leaks become interesting. We’ve rumored for a while that iris scanner will be part of the S8. But now it seems like official. The iris scanning biometric technology debuted on the Note 7. But that phone exploded. The good news is that the technology worked good, and now Samsung is using it for the S8. You will be able to unlock your phone with your eyes. Pretty cool, right?Bixby is also confirmed in the report, and two individual sources have said the assistant will be better than Google Now and Siri. Power and Camera

Samsung drastically changed the way the camera works in the Galaxy S7. And the result was great. So, we cannot expect big changes in the camera. Sources, however, claim that there will be improvement. The company will still use the duo pixel camera, probably the same 12-MP snapper. But, the difference will come in the lenses, and how much light the lens allows. If Samsung manages to improve the aperture of the camera, we will get better speed, quality, and low-light performances.

Speaking of performances, the Galaxy S8 leaks suggest completely new processor. And not just any processor, but the latest Snapdragon 835 by Qualcomm. This power horse will deliver 20 to 30 percent improvement in power compared to its predecessor. The Snapdragon 835 is built on the new 10nm technology by Samsung. In addition to more powerful chipset, the S8 will have either 6 or 8GB of RAM. And the internal storage will start at 64GB.

Accessories

One of the most interesting addition to the Galaxy S8 will be the new dock. This service will transform your device into an Android computer. You can connect your phone to a monitor, keyboard, and other desktop extensions.
