Nike’s Jordan brand is consistently adapting to modern fashion trends. To this day, the mainline Air Jordan series continues to embody a design DNA for basketball. Over the years, the label has expanded its catalog to feature lifestyle footwear. The roster grows once more with the introduction of the Granville Pro.
It’s easy for Air Jordan collectors to brush this off. However, those who are open to something cool and stylish outside the regular lineup should check this out. The Granville Pro comes in a colorway Nike calls “Rattan” but also flaunts other neutrals that keep the visuals understated.
These kicks are great for casual use but are classy enough to pair with slightly more formal outfits. If you want to pair your suit with something slightly dapper, this silhouette should do nicely. You have an earthy yellow tone on the mesh upper, collar, suede lace cages, laces, synthetic tongue, tags, and lining.
The shades of rattan get contrast from laser-cut textiles: white on the lateral sides and black with the Swoosh logo on the medial sides of the midfoot. We have suede mudguards and tongue badges with the number 23, Jumpman logo, label, and pull tab in black.
A quick peek inside the Granville Pro shows a sockliner in white with branding in black. From the rear, labels on the heel tab tell you this is part of Jordan’s 23 Engineered collection. Next, are the black molded heel counters with the Jumpman logo within a delta outline.
The Granville Pro is outfitted with a white Formula 23 midsole. Flip it over to see the textured outsole that shows the Jumpman logo medallion. Finally, the heel section tapers at an angle to show the number 23 from the back.
