One look at this Club C 85 by Rebook and nobody would think that it’s a highly capable pair designed for climbing and hiking. It seems like another stylish silhouette for casual use. However, there’s more to it if you slip these on while on a trek. To those not convinced, let’s check out what these kicks are all about.

The classic aesthetic of the Club C 85 takes “a page from Reebok’s climbing archive.” Perhaps it’s the understated vibe brought about by its colorway. According to its product page, this is Pure Grey 6/ Pure Grey 7/Lilac Glow. It’s great that Reebok add a splash of vibrancy to break what would have otherwise been a dull chromatic choice.

Only the yellow hue of the leather panel and nylon loop on the heel provides a visual contrast to the understated shade. The suede upper feels plush to the touch and should keep your feet warm when it gets cold. The Lilac Glow stitching highlights the panels and gives the surfaces some definition as well.

Its elastic lacing system comes with a suede eyestay panel and the cords thread through a loop on the tongue. The latter features a debossed Rebook script and emblem. Along with the cushioned collar, lining, and EVA midsole, your Club C 85 should stay on securely even over rough terrain.

The Reebok branding is likewise visible on the heel panel and within a cutout on the lateral side of the shoe with a Union Jack flag. Your Club C 85 sports a thick rubber outsole with a grippy texture for various types of surfaces.
