Suicide Squad Release Date in less than two months, This is why you should be excited
It’s less than two months before the much-awaited premiere of DC’s uncanny, intriguing, yet undeniably impressive Suicide Squad movie and Warner Bros. has just released new posters and other materials that preview just how exhilarating the movie is supposed to be.
The movie’s official UK Twitter account just dropped new promo materials that showcase the Suicide Squad characters in their villainous best and it looks like fans of this highly-anticipated film are in for a whole new level of crazy — and they are bound to like it.
The new promo materials include never-before-seen individual posters of each of the movie’s villainous cast.
Featured in one of these posters is Cara Delevigne’s character, Enchantress, who is seen in all her villain glory for the first time. Also in another one of the recently released posters is Diablo (played by actor Jay Hernandez) showing off just one of his many uncanny abilities.
Together with all these new revelations, of course, is the rest of the Suicide Squad led by Jared Leto as Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, and Will Smith as Dead Shot.
The sure hit film’s director, David Ayer, has recently opened up about why this movie’s version of Joker came up the way he did — and apparently, it had mostly something to do with the drug lords on Instagram.
According to Ayer, he felt that Instagram’s drug lords drew out the best sources of inspiration for Suicide Squad’s Joker, as he felt the need to connect the star villain with something tangible, something realistic.
In an interview with Yahoo! Ayer revealed:
“A lot of it has to do with creating a character with some kind of history and footprint in our world, and not have this sacrosanct being outside of our continuum, our reality.”
Suicide Squad is showing in theaters August 5th, and the whole squad can’t wait to play with your feelings.
