NES Classic Edition
Do you remember the first time you ever played a video game? That feeling of control over something else, stepping into another world, an interactive adventure. I will never forget mine. I was just 3 years old when I was introduced to Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo Home Entertainment System. It was brilliant, and it came packed with so much, so many different games to choose from. Nowadays, the world of gaming is very different; everything is more realistic and so much focus is placed on the social aspect of gaming. Never did we dream that it would come this far, or that microtransactions would exist. Gaming was simpler back then, and that’s what Nintendo aims to bring to us. The NES Classic Mini was announced, a tiny little thing that can fit in the palm of your hand. What does it do? Let’s find out:
NES Classic Mini Details
So the NES Classic Mini comes packed with 30 Classic titles (such as Super Mario Bros), which will undoubtedly please the fans looking for that nostalgic experience or even please those who are looking to pass those good memories on to their children, who can build fond memories playing these classic titles. The specs remain the same, of course, but luckily this time; the console features HDMI ports, so you don’t have to dig up your dusty old TV sets from the 90’s, you can simply use your current TV, which is a very convenient addition. Unfortunately, the console has no internet capabilities, which is quite shameful as they could have done quite a lot with that. Multiplayer is also a main part of the console’s focus. You can now buy several NES Gamepads to use on the console. I hear your old Wii Pro Controller is compatible with this machine. All in all, it sounds like a pretty good deal for an older system. A must buy for fans this holiday.
