Moto G 2014 Marshmallow Update
The Motorola Moto G 2014 Marshmallow update has started rolling out in India and will be available to all users in the next few days.
The 2ng gen Moto G is a great budget device, but the software on it was ageing as it was still running Android 5.0. It was never updated to Android 5.1, so if you’re a Moto G user, you’d like that you can now install the Marshmallow update.
Motorola was soak testing the Android 6.0 for 2nd gen Moto G in India and Brazil. Now that the tests have concluded in India, the new software will start arriving via OTA. Both the 3G and LTE versions of the 2nd Gen Moto G will be getting the latest Android 6.0 marshmallow update. We’re not sure when the rollout will begin in Brazil, but it should commence soon.
