GTA 6 rumors say that it may feature a female protagonist, extreme weather (such as earthquakes, eruptions and tsunamis), and the biggest map in video games so far.
It is not uncommon for Youtubers to try and conduct weird experiments, but recently we found out how much time is needed for walking across every GTA map. Here is the list:
It Takes Over 6 Hours to Walk Across Every GTA Game Put Together
Grand Theft Auto (1997) – 26 minutes, 30 seconds
Grand Theft Auto 2 (1999) – 13 minutes, 15 seconds
Grand Theft Auto III (2001) – 14 minutes, 20 seconds
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002) – 13 minutes
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) – 1 hour, 36 minutes
Grand Theft Auto IV (2008) – 1 hour, 5 minutes
Grand Theft Auto V (2013) – 2 hours, 21 minutes
All these elements would change the franchise itself, as well as the whole gaming industry. It is also rumored that Ryan Gosling will jump immediately from the role of a cowboy in Red Dead Redemption 2 to GTA 6, and probably even include his real-life partner, actress Eva Mendez, as a female lead character. We will see how Rockstar Games respond to these rumors on the internet.
Gosling had also said that “It was impossible to imagine Drive without having played GTA.” Even though Gosling has experience playing getaway driver, there is still nothing official from Rockstar Games.
Another rumor was a complete change of continent – all GTA games have been set in the US so far. Fans are hoping that Europe might be featured in GTA 6 for a change, but from earlier interviews we know that London is not considered a good location by the developers. A variation of that rumor is that GTA 6 will stay in the US, but turn to earlier eras, most interesting being the 70’s.
GTA 6 does not have an official release date, but we can definitely say it will not happen soon. However, we can speculate that it will appear between 2018 and 2020.
