4. Greenify
Greenify is a task manager app that works differently from all the other apps in its category. What makes this app unique is that while all other apps offer to ‘kill’ apps running in the background that are eating up space and battery juice, Greenify chose to take the greener, more peaceful way — forcing the apps to ‘hibernate’ instead.
Some experts believe that using task managers can slow down the devices’ processors instead of actually speeding them up — as ‘killing’ apps off will result in them having to restart themselves over and over again, causing them to work even slower in the process. But since the Greenify app only forces apps to ‘hibernate’, users won’t have any problems waking these apps up once they decide to use them again.
