As the name suggests, the Advanced Task Killer app is equipped with advanced features that lets users choose whether or not they’d like to do the killing of the apps themselves — whenever a notification saying that it found apps violating the device’s CPU pops up — or set it up in such a way that it automatically does the killing by itself instead.
The developers of this program, however, warn that processes that are vital to the device’s system might also get killed off in the process this way — so they added a feature that lets users put apps that need to stay running in the background on Advanced Task Killer’s ‘ignore list’. This way, users can make sure that they haven’t accidentally done anything that could be potentially harmful to their devices’ system.
