After following a trend towards lighter camping gear and thermal containers, Stanley is turning it around for 2017 with some of the heaviest vacuum-insulated bottles they have ever produced. The largest of the Master Series ($65) is a 1.4-quart behemoth whose bottle and heavy duty cup weigh in at just under three pounds. The smaller 25-ounce bottle and cup are just under two pounds, twice its Classic Series counterpart.

This weight is not added in vain. The Stanley Master Series is vaunted to keep hot drinks at temperature for 40 hours and cold beverages for up to 35 hours. Iced drinks were still in range after nearly a week.Even the steel mugs hold heat for as much as 20 minutes as it is being consumed. The outer bottles use 1mm 10/8 rust-proof stainless steel and are built to last a lifetime and beyond. Coming from the first name in hot or cold beverage preservation, the Master Series truly proves its title.
