Here at Mensgear we like to think that we can spot a cool watch when we see one. And what can be cooler than the only central tourbillon wristwatch in the world? That’s right, the OMEGA De Ville Central Tourbillon ($335,000) includes a mechanism that rotates completely once every minute, offsetting the effect of gravity on the performance of the watch.
This outstanding piece is the result of 500 hours of work of one watchmaker, who engraves his or her personal initial on the main tourbillon plate. When a Central Tourbillon is returned to OMEGA for servicing, it will be placed in the hands of the watchmaker who created it. How neat is that?
Handcrafted by a select group of horologists, the watch features an anti-reflective scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a 38.7 mm platinum case, black alligator leather strap, water resistance to 30 meters, and of course, the self-winding chronometer Omega 2636 movement with Co-Axial Escapement Tourbillon. Total awesomeness!
