Late in 2013 Apple launched the iPad Air, the lightest iPad yet that feels balanced and featherlight in hand, while in the opinion of yours truly it is the best tablet ever made. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that things could continue to be breezy in Cupertino and the next iPhone also be called the iPhone Air. It would surely be welcome if Apple radically changed the iPhone design for something extremely light and thin.
If the company needs inspiration it need look no further than this iPhone Air concept designed by Federico Ciccarese (SET Solution). Ciccarese has created a very slick looking handset indeed, and one that is just 0.5mm thick (or should that be thin?); while we are glad to see he has upped the iPhone screen to a 5-inch panel. Of course, the device would sport Apple´s A7 and M7 64-bit chip and coprocessor and the new fingerprint scanner, but it is also obvious that Apple will never make it. Oh well. via
